Our Story

Latifa Bin Haider, Founder, is the inspirational, social entrepreneur behind Baytuki. After heeding her grandmother’s advice about saving cash to purchase gold, land, and properties she set out on a journey of personal growth. She met many women who were interested in what was a personal journey for her and she changed this into an opportunity to help women in the community. From there Baytuki came to be what it is now

Latifa Bin Haider

Founder

Latifa earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the American University of Sharjah where she majored in Management and minored in Finance.

Latifa earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the American University of Sharjah where she majored in Management and minored in Finance. While at university she co-founded Mental Health AE, an initiative with the aim to raise awareness about the importance of mental health and to aid those who haven't had the opportunity or platform to voice their challenges. During her senior year in university, Mental Health AE was selected as one of the top 10 teams to participate in the Ma’an Social Incubator - Abu Dhabi Government. Soon after graduation, she entered the Emirati Development Program (run by Dubai Startup Hub) with Baytuki and won. This achievement enabled her to raise an initial investment. Additionally, she won two other entrepreneurship competitions with both Baytuki and Mental Health AE in StartAD (NYUAD). As a young Emirati woman, she wants to empower the women in her society with opportunities and education. She brings to Baytuki, fresh insight and understanding of the value of the youth for the UAE’s future.

Farah-Ann Al-Derzi

Senior Executive Officer

Farah-Ann Al-Derzi serves as the Senior Executive Officer and is a member of the Executive Committee at Baytuki. She is responsible for all direct real estate investment

Farah-Ann Al-Derzi serves as the Senior Executive Officer and is a member of the Executive Committee at Baytuki. She is responsible for all direct real estate investment to source, filter and execute acquisitions that offer exceptional value to clients. She is passionate about giving investors access to unique opportunities they rarely see elsewhere catered to women by women. She began her extensive international experience in 2012 as an auditor at KPMG Luxembourg specializing in real estate investment funds. Her career journey took her later to Deloitte & Touche in Abu Dhabi where she built up her experience in the Financial Services Industry. She has far-reaching knowledge in direct real estate. She held the position of financial controller at AXA Investment Managers in London being at the heart of the value-add, joint venture and development fund series. She possesses great familiarity with asset and property managers, real estate valuers, investors and stakeholders. Before joining Baytuki, she held the role of finance and real estate investment officer with a Dubai based asset management firm. Her skills and expertise cover a wide range of real estate sectors. She has been committed to helping others; especially women find their foothold financially. She is an effective multicultural executive, having the innate passion, drive and determination to implement positive change.

Viola El Atrach

Customer Relations Manager

Viola is a seasoned client relations manager with over eight years of experience in the MENA region. Having previously worked for Teach for All on so many community projects including women empowerment.

Viola is a seasoned client relations manager with over eight years of experience in the MENA region. Having previously worked for Teach for All on so many community projects including women empowerment . She consistently provides the highest level of customer experience to clients and as such will be the contact person for Baytuki’s clients in the role of Customer Relations Manager. She specializes in customer relations and communications, her knowledge in this area has been cultivated throughout her years of experience. She continually strives to deliver the highest standards of service and insight to clients. She will be responsible for developing and implementing all client related matters. Viola has earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and graduated with honors from the Lebanese International University in Beirut. She has been presented with the cultural exchanger award from the United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon UNIFIL and has been part of several fellowship programs such as the Professional Development for Trainers provided by the American Embassy in Beirut. She is an integral part of the Baytuki team, continually striving for the betterment of client interest and experience.

Angelica is an accomplished progressive office manager with over a decade of experience. She specializes in broad business administration, office management, sales and marketing.

Her skills and expertise cover a wide range of sectors including publishing, advertising, construction, aesthetic-focused mobile application and real estate investment having amassed her knowledge at Unilever Philippines and Inquirer Group. Angelica is able to use her comprehension and unique insight of office management to better Baytuki’s client experience. She has been able to increase productivity, efficiency and growth by consistently supporting business operations. She is able to lend her expertise in her craft by collaborating with colleagues across the business to proactively, develop, implement and communicate objectives and policies. Angelica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts from the University of Santo Tomas Manila, Philippines. She is an essential member of the team and the backbone to Baytuki’s office operations.
